OLLIE Cohort registration
The Online Learning for Iowa Educators (OLLIE) Cohort is a low-cost opportunity for professional development on how to teach online.  Whereas regular OLLIE courses are available on the open catalog, we also subsidize the cost of professional learning in an effort to increase the reflective practices of online teaching.  As such, we only make it available to those who are actively exploring teaching online or in a blended/personalized environment.

Course costs are free to audit, $35/credit for license renewal, and $130/credit for Drake graduate credit.  For those seeking the Drake Online Teaching Certificate, you must select the Drake graduate credit.

As of 2022, our main method for delivering OLLIE courses is via a self-paced format.  This means you can start the courses at any time and progress at your own pace.  Unlike the open catalog, participants register for credit at the end of the course, so there is no cost or penalty to begin and change your mind.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SCHOOL LEADERS:  If school districts would like a traditional, facilitated offering of OLLIE for staff, we can provide that as well.  We require a minimum of 10 participants.

Please complete the interest form below.  Upon doing so, you will receive an email with information on how to begin the self-paced courses.
